ALTER

What an exciting year of ministry we had at EGCC in the past year! We capped it off with an awesome service project that blessed many people in our community. We are excited to see how God will continue to use his people for His glory and honor this year!

Over the next few weeks, we will be talking about change. Yeah, we know just how excited people are to hear that word. So we are using a hipper, more sly way of talking about change, and using the word “Alter.”

The vision for the year ahead centers on altering how we live.

How might altering your behaviors help you serve your family and community more?

How might altering your schedule free up our most valuable resource, time, for kingdom good?

What needs to change in your life, to build up the church and bring glory and honor to God and his kingdom?

Why do we need to change anyways? When Jesus showed up and began his ministry, he began many of his sermons with this phrase, “Repent, for the kingdom of God is near.”

Repent is change towards truth and righteousness.

We need to turn from our old ways and live our new  life for the kingdom of God.
